AsPIB is delighted to invite you to an exceptional talk by Australian naturalist artist Sharon Field, centered around her powerful project:
“3000 days… and counting… – One botanical artist’s response to our changing climate”

Inspired by the 2021 IPCC report, Sharon was struck by the 2030 deadline—the target set to limit global warming to under +1.5°C.
In 2022, that left approximately 3,000 days.

In response to this countdown, she embarked on an ambitious artistic journey: drawing one plant a day for 3,000 days on a continuous scroll, creating a visual testimony to the living world under threat.

An inspiring and thought-provoking encounter that bridges art and science, close observation of nature, and the urgency of climate change.
