Botanical Treasures of Bagatelle Exhibition with Élisabeth Vitou

Location: Orangerie de Bagatelle, Paris 16th
Date: June 10 to 15, 2025, daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

This exhibition, Botanical Treasures of Bagatelle, showcases botanical plates by Ariane Mercier featuring pelargoniums from the Bagatelle collection, alongside works by Élisabeth Vitou focused on the helophyte plants found along the pond’s edge, as well as the flowers and trees of the park.

Botanical Illustration Workshop in Tuscany with Catherine Watters

Location: Le Tassinaie, Maremma, Italy
Date: June 23 to 28, 2025

Le Tassinaie invites you to a botanical illustration workshop led by Catherine Watters, a renowned artist and teacher with over 25 years of experience in the United States and France.

All AsPIB members receive a 10% discount on the workshop fee.

Botanical Drawing Workshop with Ariane Mercier and Élisabeth Vitou

Location: Jardins Suspendus du Havre, Le Havre
Date: Saturday, June 28, 2025

As part of the exhibition Végétales: Journey into Botanical Illustration, held at the Abbey of Graville until November 2, 2025, a botanical drawing workshop will be led by botanical artists Ariane Mercier and Élisabeth Vitou.

Botanical Illustration Workshop with Sophie Graverand

Location: Brest
Date: July 21 to 25, 2025

Five immersive days among greenhouses, gardens, and the workshop-laboratory.

This summer gathering has become an annual event dedicated to passionate participants with solid foundations in botanical drawing.
It’s a great opportunity to advance your projects and deepen your methods and techniques in the exceptional setting of the Brest CBN.

August 2025

Botanical Drawing Workshop with Martina Rajtmajerovà

Location: MJC de Palente, 24 rue des Roses, Besançon
Date: August 22 to 24, 2025, from 9 a.m.–12 p.m. and 1 p.m.–5 p.m.

Maria Sibylla Merian was a 17th–early 18th century artist and scientist known for her detailed illustrations and observations of plants and especially insects.

During this botanical drawing workshop, you will take inspiration from her magnificent plates to draw local species such as butterflies and their host plants.

Maximum 10 participants.
Cost for the 3-day workshop: €180.

Drawing Botanical Subjects – Workshop with Claire Billiotte and Élisabeth Vitou

Location: Nancy
Date: September 6, 2025

As part of the Jean-Marie Pelt Botanical Garden program in Nancy, a “Drawing Botanical Subjects” workshop will take place on Saturday, September 6, along with a talk titled “History and Current Trends in Botanical Illustration.”

Led by Claire Billiotte and Élisabeth Vitou.

Botanical Drawing Workshop and SNHF Exhibition with Élisabeth Vitou

Location: Town Hall, 7th arrondissement of Paris
Date: Saturday, September 21, 2025

A botanical watercolor exhibition will be held on September 21, 2025, organized by the Société Nationale d’Horticulture de France (SNHF) as part of the European Heritage Days weekend.

Theme: Celebrating the Bicentenary of the Vilmorin-Andrieux Catalogue.

A free botanical drawing workshop will take place throughout the afternoon, led by Élisabeth Vitou.
